This site is supported by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. It provides teachers and students with high quality, free, curriculum related, interactive resources containing animations and diagrams which can be downloaded. All our resources link science topics covered in school to the world outside and, particularly, to the treatment of disease.

The ABPI schools website is highly valued by teachers. Thousands of people use the site each month...
Find out moreI'm Andrew Cordon, Director of Education and Examination Policy and Partnerships at the ABPI. We have a long-standing commitment to support STEM education from the primary age through to the sixth form age. And we do that primarily through our dedicated schools website where there are plenty of resources that are curriculum linked across the UK and come with the Association for Science Education green tick.
Sadly, many people switch off from science at an early age. Our dedicated schools website is catering for everyone from the primary age through to the sixth form. And the resources that we have on there are interactive and take many different forms. We keep them up to date. We regularly review them in line with educators and what they need.
So we regularly engage with schools and colleges to make sure that what we're delivering is of use and purposeful to them and ultimately is supporting the teachers who have the very difficult job in the classroom of inspiring those students.
There's plenty of content that we provide on the basis of supporting informed career decisions. We can't make that decision for the individual. The onus is on the individual for them to do their own research. Come to the website, look through the resources, find out what appeals to you, find out where there is that opportunity that will enable you to get your first foot on the ladder of a really fulfilling career.
