This activity is an experiment in which you can change the conditions to see how that affects the population of rabbits in an area, or of micro-organisms in a petri-dish.

Once you have looked at how changing the temperature, amount of food and moisture affect the population, introduce some foxes into the area where the rabbits live, or put an antibiotic in with the micro-organisms!
